Classic Triple Berry Blend Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups dairy-free milk (oat, almond, or cashew)
  • 1/2 cup strawberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup raspberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 banana (frozen)

Optional Add-ins: Now it’s time to express yourself and explore different flavors. Try adding one or two of the following:

  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (adds protein and creates a creamy texture)
  • 2 tbsp chia or flax seeds (provides omega-3s and fiber)
  • 1 serving protein powder
  • 1/2 cup spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (creates a thick and creamy consistency)

Instructions

  • Start by pouring the liquid into your blender
  • Next, toss in the add-ins of your choice
  • Place the berries and frozen banana
  • Hit that button and blend until smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add more liquid and continue blending to achieve your desired consistency. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

If you like your smoothies on the thicker side, start with less liquid and add more as needed. On the other hand, if you find your smoothie is too thin, add extra berries or yogurt to make it thicker. Either way, this recipe is flexible, so you really can’t go wrong.
